INSTITUTE FIELD PROGRAM · STREAMER MODE
Streamer Mode
Your chat assesses one subject at a time, together, live on stream. The Institute then compares its verdict with humanity's.
Begin a Session
1 · TWITCH
Read-only: the Institute reads your chat to count votes, in this browser. It never posts, and never keeps a message.
On Stream
- Start a session here, in its own browser window, and add that window to OBS (or any broadcaster) as a Window Capture. The stage fits any size; full screen at 1920 by 1080 is ideal.
- Chat types a number from 0 to 10. One vote per chatter, and the first one counts: a vote can't be changed once it's in, so stream delay and last-second switches don't move the result. Anything else in chat is ignored.
- Vote too: type your number in your own chat. Yours is kept apart from chat's, hidden until the reveal so it can't lead anyone, and recorded as your own assessment, the same one vote on each subject every visitor gets.
- When the timer ends, chat's verdict is shown beside humanity's, and the address to vote for real.
- You and your moderators can type !reveal, !next or !skip in chat. At the keyboard: Space reveals, then moves on; S skips; H hides the buttons; Escape leaves.
Two Promises
Nothing your chat types appears on screen. The stage shows counts only: never a message, never a name. There is nothing on it for you to moderate.
Chat's votes are not recorded. The Institute's figures are compiled one anonymous visitor at a time, and a single stream does not move them. Your own vote counts, as any visitor's does; your viewers can add theirs at the address on screen.
